Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also simple to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test.  affordable robot vacuum  has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

It has a variety of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. You can even make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant of the S8, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's one of the combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are priced lower than the competition.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.

It's important to note that the mapping process takes a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. Additionally the object detection is hit or miss and it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you customize a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at an affordable price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping system which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.

Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to an ongoing basis. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to save time. It's a great option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice to consider if you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains a little more quickly than other models in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy and does a good job of navigating tight spots. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpets.

It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it is able to take a picture of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys,, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are secured and are not linked to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
